Day 2: Penance and repentance

Day 2 attends to the Marian call to penance, repeated through the apparitions.

Penitence

In the apparitions, the Blessed Virgin repeated three times: 'Pray for sinners; do penance for sinners.' Catholic penance is not first about earning forgiveness but about disposing the heart for grace.

Prayer

Mary of Lourdes, you who called Bernadette to penance, call me also. Show me the Confession I have been avoiding. Amen.

Conclude with one Our Father, one Hail Mary, and one Glory Be.
