Day 8: Fidelity in old age

Day 8 attends to Patrick's perseverance in his Irish mission to the end of his life.

Stayed in the field

Patrick remained in Ireland until his death around 461. He could have retired to Britain or to Gaul; he did not. He stayed with his Catholic flock.

Saint Patrick, give me fidelity in my own vocation. Help me to finish what I have been given. Amen.
