Day 6: Suffering united to Christ
The sixth day attends to Saint Faustina's offering of her own physical and spiritual sufferings in union with Christ.
Co-redemptive suffering
Saint Faustina suffered from tuberculosis for most of her religious life. She offered every pain, every interior struggle, every misunderstanding, explicitly to Christ for the conversion of sinners. Her Diary is filled with the language of this offering.
Prayer
Saint Faustina, you who made your suffering an act of redemptive love, teach me the same. Where I am in pain today, let me offer it for the salvation of someone who does not know Christ. Make my burden a gift. Amen.
Conclude with one Our Father, one Hail Mary, and one Glory Be.
