Day 6: Contemplation of the Passion

Day 6 attends to Rita's forty years of contemplative life centered on the Passion of Christ.

The Augustinian life

For forty years Rita served the Augustinian community at Cascia in obedience, prayer, manual work, and contemplation of the Passion. The Catholic contemplative life is the engine of every active apostolate.

Prayer

Saint Rita, give me your love of the Passion of Christ. Help me to make a small space for contemplation in my own daily life. Amen.
